VJ decal fix and medium...stupid question.

I got Vallejo decal fix and medium with a paint set I ordered a few months back. I am going to try them soon and need to know which one to use first...fix or medium? VJ website says Fix, some blogs say use Medium first and VJ website is wrong. Has anybody used them and in what order?
