Put them on a sunny window for a few days and they will bleach out white. Also brush on a couple of coats  of decal saving liquid to keep them from fracturing once they sit in water.

Too many models to build, not enough time in a lifetime!!

I suppose its possible to work them a little in photoshop to get out as much yellow as possible. Give it a try.

The sun technique is really effective.

Modeling is an excuse to buy books.

Hi all, I just finished a Hawk Howard "IKE" kit. My first 1 day kit! Unfortunialy due to age, the decal backs had yellowed, not good on a white surface. I thought I read on the forem that you could put them in the sun to bleach them. Can you re-print them on clear decal paper without a yellow tint? Any pointers would be appericated.  Thanks much  AARDVARK
