Hey thanks Bish.

I used the Meng Decals on my Dragon King Tiger. They fit almost like a glove so it depends what you are using. Follow my wip for a better description:

Plasticjunkie recently used Meng Zimm decals on a Tiger II. I was doubtful about them, but was glad to be proved wrong, they look very nice. His build is in the online reader gallery if you want to check it out. I have done my own Zimm with miliput for years but am planning giving these decals a try.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

Thanks. Little on this technique; more on making own zimmerit and applying. Just seems antiseptic to paint over sheets; paint have to be thin if zimmerit also is thin? Will try.

You would paint the model after all the zimmerit is applied.  Decals go on after that, like what you’d normally do on other kits.  The main thing is getting the zimmerit sheets/stickers/decals to align over cutouts and surface edges, and making sure they stick and stay stuck.

Find info on how to put on tank but very little info on finished product, and, whether you paint before or after placing zimmeit stickers, decals to tank surface.  Any info would be apprecicated. How does hold up to detailing and weatherng surfaces for example.
