HGW's Wet Transfer paper information please
Posted by snapdragonxxx on Monday, November 4, 2019 6:14 PM

I am interested in being able to print my own wet transfers (NOT DECALS) like HGW produce as, despite the number or years spent building, never really got down the decal sheets properly. Everytime I use clear coats, silk, matt etc I always end up with a white bloom and with more companies producing custom masks I am more comfortable painting on insignia etc.

The problems comes with doing the smaller stencils that can't be done as masks and HGW have come out with a wet transfer paper that works like a decal, but once dry you peel of the clear film and it leavs the transfer on the model.

Where can I get this paper and what do I print with?

Since the 'technology' you're seeking seems not to be available to the general hobbyist market, there's a better-than-even chance that it's not compatible with DIY printing methods. Unless you can somehow source the manufacturer, you're likely out of luck.
