Quinta 3D “decals”?

Has anyone here had a chance to use these?

My main question is, since they're 3D printed and have all the knobs, switches and stuff sticking up, do you have to sand down flat the cockpit consoles if there's already kit detail there?

None of the reviews on them mention it one way or the other.

I have the 1/32 scale Su-25 3D decals.  Yes, you have to remove the raised panel detail on the kit parts before using these.  You can buy them locally too from SprueBrothers or Linden Hill Imports, which are both quick and easy.  NorthStar takes way too long and their communication is terrible.

Hi;

 My first experience with 3d? decals were rivet decals in all sizes. Pretty neat that. Rivets just look good all over Bridges and things. Not to mention Tankers too. I don't have them handy so I can't give you the name.

Those might have been Archer rivets maybe?  Those are great, but the Quinta decals are leaps and bounds beyond those for aircraft builders.  The instruments even have nice, shiny glass in each one of them...incredibly detailed and realistic looking.

 About instruments now, I'll have to check them out for sure!
