Cadet Chuck:

That much ? UhUh. I guess I can paint the inside of the hull black and just use one bulb and some Fibre Optics I have in my parts drawer. I will use the decals for something I scratchbuild

I built that kit.  I just don't bother with those "fly-speck" decals.  I just throw them out and the model still looks fine.  Same with the stencils on aircraft.  Just built Tamiya's 1/48 Phantom jet, it had hundreds of stencils that are so small, no one can read them, anyway.  Tossed 'em right into the circular file.

And re the lighting for the Voyager- CultTVMan.com now has a lighting kit from Round 2, for about $100 !  With sound effects, even!  Something else I don't need.

Gimme a pigfoot, and a bottle of beer...

H mmm!

These things used to be my downfall till some years back when I really got " In the Zone" with them. Not now though! Another thought. Have you Sci-Fiction folks seen the amount of teensy Decals on the sheet for the Snap-Fit U.S.S. Voyager spacecraft?

I believe even Capt. Janeway would have a problem with being cross-eyed putting these on. And no Stickers to take their place either! Interesting kit in that it is not clear what is clear! It ain't the ship, that's for sure!

It's indicated that it should be lit. Well, Why Don't they tell you how? Going back to the Decals. Some are smaller than I ran into on my Model Earth Moving Machine!
