Alps Printing
Posted by gerard218 on Wednesday, May 19, 2004 10:21 AM
I don’t know how many people have this problem but I was a big Alps Printer fan in my design career. Then I got very lucky that it turns out I can make my own custom decals using my favorite printer. Then Alps went under and took my printer cartridges with them.

Two questions are there any other ALPS fans out there and do you know where to purchase the printer cartridges or has anyone used an ink jet printer to do custom labels?

All the help anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated…

Dear Sir,
Alps still makes the printer cartridges for the printers and will for a long time to come you can buy them at: www.bigbuys.com and http://www.systems-consulting.com/ALPSInventory.html

they also have updated the printer drivers to work with latest operating systems.

1337,

I have done some limited custom decaling in the past with the printer that I mentioned. I would be interested in doing some for you once I have my printer up and running again. As you noticed by me posting I needed to get some supplies to get it going again.

Once I have things in line again I will get in touch via this message board and you can tell me what type of custom decaling that you are looking for.

Thanks
