                        Sad [:(] Imagine my frustration when, after purchasing after market decals from my LHS, sealed in the bag), I ran into something I have never experienced before!

                        These particular decals were invasion stripes in 1/48 for a TBM Avenger. I was going to do some cutting and apply them to my razorback. When I wetted them up and began to transfer to the model, they literally disintegrated on the backing paper! I didn't even get a chance to touch them. they just "cracked " into pieces!

                        Anybody out there know what is going on here?

                        The decals weren't top-coated, definitely a manufacturing defect. Contact the decal maker, explain what happened & request a replacement sheet.
