What do you espect from 10 year old decals?Wink [;)]

Have you tried applying a softening solution first?

What exactly are they doing, or not doing Jeff?

on occasion i've found that for some reason or other Micro Sol wasn't snuggleing the decal down to an irregular surface............(presuming that's your dilema)......... so some of my model railroad pals recommended Champ decal sol...............& bingo...........no interaction with the painted or gloss coated surface.......let it set over nite and a "painted on" marking the next morning.
unfortunately i know not where to get more other than a model railroad shop, Woodbeck but, the stuff does work and if that won't then Solveset......that stuff will make cardboard conform.......use with caution.
good luck to ya.....

Dickytoo, Solvaset is probably the strongest decal solvent known to man. If this stuff can't make your decals conform, nothing will. Try finding it at your lhs. For really stubborn decals try a solution of Solvaset and white glue as an adhesive inder the decal.
