Modern low-viz markings for 1/144 C-5
Posted by J-Hulk on Thursday, August 26, 2004 6:59 AM
Howdy, folks!Smile [:)]

Well, I've scoured every source for decals that my meager Internet skills would allow, and I couldn't find a single thing about aftermarket decals for the ol' Otaki 1/144 C-5A. I want to build it in the modern overall gray scheme with low-viz markings, but I've come up with nothing so far.

Anybody have any idea what company might offer such decals, or how I might modify existing decals for another aircraft for use on a C-5?

Any and all info would be greatly appreciated!Big Smile [:D]

Just bumping this back up to the top in case someone with some info missed it...I really want to build that big boy, but not with the old decals!
Thanks for any assistance. Big Smile [:D]

You may try to get some decals for a current C-130 in 1/144 scale. There shouldn't be too much of a difference. Of course there is always making them yourself.

Thanks, Mark!
I've considered using 1/144 C-141 decals, but I've had no luck finding those, either.

And If I could make them myself, this thread wouldn't be here in the first place!Wink [;)]
