Has anyone used Hi-Decals from Poland?

Will be using Hi-Decals from Poland for the first time. Curious if these decals will work well with Microset/Microsol? Or will I need something stronger?

Thanks,

Dave

I used a set of Hi Decals for a Mig 17 a few years ago. They were very thick and did not respond to micro set and microsol. I don`t know if they have got any better over the years, as I mainly buy Aeromaster or Eagle Strike decals which I cannot fault.

dgarrington,

Thanks very much for the info. I'll probably get solvaset/sol just in case.

Be careful. The HiD set I used on my L-39 had disentegrating decals so make sure you test a spare piece first. They seemed to respond OK to MicroSol

Their later sets are very thin and well printed. One thing to look out for is the tendency for the edges of the decal to roll under itself. Other than that they work well and conform well.
