I've found that using microset, it sometimes works, but with microsol, it ALWAYS works, just dont touch the decal once its on there, it will literally fall to pieces!

I don't know where I got the idea that there was such a thing as Solvasol. There are so few hobby stores near me that I'd be totally lost without the help of people on this forum.

Thank you,

Dave

FYI...it may take a while for a shipment to arrive due to the fact that paints, thinners, etc. are considered HAZMAT. It'll get to you, just expect a delay.

Thanks for the info. I found a bottle of Solvaset. I couldn't find any Solvasol however. I thought this stuff existed but I can't find it anywhere. Did it ever exist? Can it still be found?

Thanks,

Dave

Dave,
There is no such thing as "Solvasol" as they're both basically in the same bottle. Think of Solvaset as the nuclear weapon of decal sets/sols. This stuff will etch the decal right into the paint. That's why I love it.

squadron.com has it too... you can't look for it by name in the search bar though, strange... just browse the decals/solvents section and it is almost at the end...
