Decals stuck to instructions !!

The water would activate the decal & unless used right away it would be toast. I've had this happen on a couple of old kits that I picked up at shows or garage sales. Chances are the decals are unusable at this point anyway. Bout all you can do is slowly & carefully tear the paper off the decal. Some residue will remain, but the decal will probably be intact. When it's time to decal & you submerge the decal in water, the paper residue can be wiped off. I'd test an uneeded or non-critical graphic first. But the odds are you'll need AM decals for this one.

Someone should definately check my logic here, but if the decals are stuck to another sheet of paper (and assuming the instructions aren't really necessary), a little water carefully applied might loosen the bond enough to peel the paper away without tearing the decals.

You'll need something thin enough to be able to work between the decal sheet and the instructions, like a butter knife or ruler. You might be able to gently lift and pull the paper as well. This may be a case though where the decal adhesive has been activated to a point that even if you did seperate the two, the decals may not be usable anyway. This kit must have been stored in a very humid environment to cause this to happen.
