Ok, here's the verdict. The good news: the set and softener does not eat up or harm the decals in any way. The bad news: the bloody stuff doesn't do anything else to them either. you may as well use water. or nothing.

As to where I got them, it was at a LHS in NY. It was the only stuff they had, so I picked it up. Well, it's gonna be an adventure. I'll try it on some incospicuous decal first to make sure it doesn't shred the thing or something...

With all the solutions I've used, the "set" is applied first as a wetting agent under the decal. It improves decal adhesion and prevents air from getting trapped under it. The "softener" or "sol" is used over top to help decals comform to all the surface detail. Id be interested in knowing how these worked for you as I also wasn't aware that Badger made these products.

I was not aware the Badger made liquids for decals...very interesting. You'll have to let us know how they worked for you, and where you purchased them. As for there use, I would use the softner and then the setting solution.Thumbs Up [tup]
