Source for Soviet decals?
Posted by echolmberg on Tuesday, February 8, 2005 12:33 PM
Hi everyone! A friend of mine is getting back into modeling after being out of it for about 20 years. He's got an interest in Soviet planes and he asked me where would be some good sources of aftermarket decals and parts. I got him steered in the right direction for the parts but I was wondering if there were any builders of Soviet subjects out there who could shed some light on some good decal sources for Soviet planes.

Thanks for the help!

Here's a couple: lindenhillimports.com and airconnection.on.ca. Linden Hill does there own decals and AirConnection imports Hi-Decal and Techmod decals.

Thank you, Bstrump. I build pretty much 99.9% U.S. planes. It would have been 100% but I built an FW-190 back about 20 years ago. Thanks for the leads. I'm going to pass them on right now.

Check out squadron mail order, they usually have a large amount of decals by various manufacturers. I think its squadron.com
