If I remember correctly, all the markings on Flying Wing are standard USAAF markings. My suggestion would be to use aftermarket letter/numbering and insignia sheets such as offered by Superscale and others. This would be your best bet as custom decals are not cheap.

x/yb-35 decals

Hey everybody,

As any of you who has built (or read the review of) AMT's x/yb-35 flying wing bomber knows, the decals provided with the kit are very thick and off register. Can anybody suggest alternatives for making a better decal sheet? Should I scan the decals, modify the colours and then print them out? Do aftermarket compaines make a product that would replace the ones in AMT's kit? Could I have a replacement sheet custom made at a reasonable price?
