Odd markings, Fonts and less then popular country's Aircraft

Sometimes finding that right Swasticka, or maybe its an insignia for a hard to find Squad....
Well sometimes they are available in after market, or you just have to buckle down and make your own decals.
Well believe it or not, another hobbie has developed that mirrors ours somewhat.
Custom Aircraft skins for a Computer game...IL2 Sturmikov, the Aces add on and its newest Pacific fighters.
This program allows users to "paint" thier own aircraft for online play, and some of them are just amazing.
As a result, Websites are popping up all over with templates, color charts, markings and insignias ect.
Now it seems to me, how easy it would be to just print these out on your own decal paper..once scaled properly you have a ready made decal templates out there for free.
As an example check out this site:
http://www.skinnersheaven.com/

These places are popping up all over...just ask Google.

Hey thanks, thats a great site especially since I just attempted my first home made decals. Made some mistakes, but definitely will be doing more in the future. The hardest part was getting the graphics right. These sites looks like a great short cut. I'm actually in the computer aircraft simulations too.

Actually, the flightsim has become a staple in the planning stage of some of my builds.
If the aircraft is available in the sim, I'll skin it the way I wish the kit to look so I have a reference in 3d that I can rotate around and look at.
and when I'm done with the build...I can take the skinned version on my computer, go multiplayer and fly it.
I have a couple of kits I display with screenshots of the bird actually fighting it out online.
The graphics are so good I've had people ask how I got the photos of the plane I built.
