Decals for 1/48 V-22 Osprey?
Posted by knight667 on Friday, March 25, 2005 10:19 AM
Anyone know of any aftermarket decals for the Testors/Italeri kit? I don't care for the markings that came with it and I'm trying to see what my options are.

I haven't seen anything out there for the Osprey other than the kit decals. There aren't any active squadrons of the V-22 just yet, and as they transition, the current squadron markings will be applied to the new aircraft, I would hazard to guess. That being said, you should be able to modify/adapt markings for the CH-46 or CH-53 squadrons if you are making a USMC V-22, or whoever else you want to have flying one. The USAF and USN are buying a small number each for their own purposes. Hope this helps.
A day in the Corps is like a day on the farm; every meal is a banquet, every paycheck a fortune, every formation a parade... The Marine Corps is a department of the Navy? Yeah...The Men's Department.
