As far as I know, all Luftwaffe aircraft wore Swastikas, even civilian aircraft since 1933, I think. What can save you is that all German crosses were strictly normalized in terms of dimensions, so it should be easy to make your two swastikas in 1/24 ( one on each side of the rudder, the same symbol, no symetry as in British or French fin flashes ). You'll find references in a lot of books ( Aero Detail, etc...) I have examples at hand but I don't know how to post pictures ( yes, Mr FSM, I do understand the principle but I never did it ). If you send me an email address, I'll scan it and send it to you.

Thank you all for coming José

1/24 Swastikas???
Posted by gunner19k on Saturday, April 9, 2005 12:25 AM
My Airfix Ju-87B decal sheet is missing the prominent swastikas seen on the tailfin (apparently a PC move by the manufacturer Black Eye [B)]); Anyone know where I can get a few? The version I plan on doing is Oblt. Otto Blumers plane of 9 Staffel, St. G 1, Omer, France 1940...

Another question is (since online photos of Otto's particular plane lack the swastika), were these markings used only in specific theater/campaigns or were they painted on all Luftwaffe aircraft?
