Code Characters vs. Code Numbers
Posted by st_gorder on Friday, April 22, 2005 9:59 PM
Hey gang;

Ordered "U.S. Serials and Code Numbers" from Tech-Mod thinking I would get letters and numbers. What should I look for to get the letters? The answer might be too obvious but I haven't seen letters in any of the on-line stores. I have but they've been yellow or gray in color. Am I overlooking them? I need white ones and black ones.

Thanks,
Steve

These used to be available but I haven't seen any in the last few years. Black letters and numbers you can make using decal paper in a suitable printer. White, you can't - the next best thing is to find some press type that is close enough and transfer it to clear decal paper, coating it with Future or a clear acrylic spray. I'm surprised that no one has filled the gap.
