Check out the 1/700 aircraft decal sets from Gold Medal Models. I'm not sure, but I think they include some white stars and bars without the blue disks - for overall blue aircraft on late WWII carriers. Maybe too big, but worth a look. Good luck.

I'd just put a little white dot and scratch the dot with a hobby knife or something to make a star like shape out of it and say it's a star.Big Smile [:D]

I am including a deck cargo of US tanks and trucks on the 1/700 scale Victory ship I'm building. Got the vehicles from White Ensign Models, but any thoughts on where I can get the white stars to go on them? Or is that just too small to even mess with?
