Hi all
This is not a new ideaby farBig Smile [:D] you hear many a time about loosing parts.
All you have to do is go to your local hardwear store & buy a white apron & some velcro.( not sure what you call this in the u.s its the tape with the nylon hooks & the soft part with the loops).
Attatch the sort part to the apron ( maybe the good lady will sow this on for you)Big Smile [:D] The hooked part you attach to the underside of your work bench with staples.Thats it so now when you start to do your kit or peif you should drop it, it goes in to the apron Wink [;)].And all for £2.50 or about $5.

yea i was kinding of having a similar idea, strange that. Wasnt about catching the parts, but after u build a kit, for instance, the revell 1/48 AH-64D Apache longbow, it has two different version parts, US and british. Ive used the british version. So i have the US fittings left. Why dont people send there spare parts to this forum? Ok i understand it will take some mangement and ud need money to cover costs, if u charged just for basic P&P im sure people would pay for a kit there building but have broken a part.
As a keen modeller myself, and grateful to this forum for all the knid help, id glady send in all my spare parts for free, and im sure everyone else would too?? no! So if anyone needed a part theyd pay only the P&P.
Just something i thought about.... Wink [;)]

Strange i had a thought on the same lines. i was thinking about all of this run that the kit came on,at the end of the day all of it goes in with your rubbish & then in to a land fill site.Dunce [D)] Why can the componys supply prepaid bags & send it back to be reused.Banged Head [banghead]Censored [censored]Party [party]

yep totally agree with u alan42. If people could send their spare parts to a certain place to be reused is a good and sensible idea. i dont know why anybody hasnt already done this....;)
