Use a decal setting solution to 'melt' the decal onto the surface, I use Microscale SET or the stronger SOL solution. I hve used  the SOL with the MM paper and it worked well.

Finishing with Micromark Decals
Posted by bigjimslade on Monday, December 19, 2005 1:08 PM

I tried Micromark's decal paper for the first time. I put some of my custom decals on the same part as kit decals.

I discovered the Micromark decals were *THICK*, many times thick than the kit decals. A couple of coats of clear have embedded the kit decals but 10 coats have barely covered the MM decals. They form big lumps sticking up from the surface.

Does anyone know of any techniques for dealing with custom decal paper>
