I would never have thought of that! Going to have to give it a try once I get more Testor's clear decal paper. I used up most of it in fruitless attempts to get the oversized yellow serial numbers made for my Doolittle's Raiders B-25.

I use Woodland Scenics dry transfer letters and numbers for a lot of my aircraft and armor that need special lettering or numbering. They come in sheets with varous sizes, colors include black, white, red, and yellow.  If my memory serves, you want 45 degree Roman letters for military stuff. Unfortunately, they do not have the 60 degree letters/numbers.

I transfer (rub) them onto clear decal sheet, cut out to the edge of the letter, apply just like any other decal. Seal with Future or any other clear coat.

Well, THIS sucks ... reply to my query to Microscale: "I am sorry we do not sale aircraft decals any longer. You can try Sentai at (818) 886-3113. Or Stevens International number is (856) 435-1555.
I hope this helps."  Sad [:(]

The website works for me, but their search function sucks as you have no choice to search for "any", you must pick a specific RR line. I tried Military and US Army with no luck. Try contacting them via email. They do make custom decals as well.

So long folks!

Microscale website problem

Having finally given up on trying to print my own yellow serial number decals for the tail of my 1/72 B-25 Doolittle Raider, I thought I'd just get a number set from Microscale because of their excellent reputation.

Went to their website at http://www.microscale.com/ and ... nothing. I could not get ANY results using the Product Catalog and Search functions. I'm sure they make military stenciled serial numbers, but has anyone else had this problem of a nonresponsive website from Microscale?
