How about printing the letters/numbers white with a light grey border (stroke), [or better yet... a color close to the background color of the model] on white decal paper. Then you can cut out along the border and you'll be left with your white letters/numbers.

Just a thought.

My 2 cents [2c]

Alps printers may print white, but if you purchase white decal paper and print over top, you will have your white! Big Smile [:D]

Got an HP color laser. It's not a scanner but it prints professionally but I haven't tried it for decals yet. I may try it with one of the decal making sets.

One thing that lasers won't do is print white, the Alps printers are the only printers I know of that prints white.  You will have to get decal paper and try it out to see your results.  As there are hundreds of color laser printers you can't tell till you experiment with the output.

Decal paper can be ordered from:

Picked up a color laser printer this weekend. Question; are these as good as the Alps printers for making decals at home?
