I use solvaset and MM gloss clear instead of future for decaling. No problems so far with solvaset attacking clear coat. Just give ample dry time.

Thanks Tom for the imput. Is 24 hours drying time a safe before clear coating? Thanks, Ed.

All I have ever used is MM acryl clears instead of a special blend of Future (I am lazy about blending special coatings when I can get one off-the-shelf at my local hobby store) and I have had no problems with the use of any of the decal setting solutions.

It appears they both have alcahol for a base, so there is no conflict.

Just be sure the decal is fully set and dry before applying the clear coat.

I`ve seen alot of advice on Microsol and Microset on Future basecoats for decals. Anyone had any experiences with Solvaset and Model Master Acryl Clear Gloss as a base coat for decals? Any compatability problems between the two? I understand that Solvaset is a pretty strong setting solution. Thanks, Ed.
