Try Windex or Simple Green. You may have to soak them awhile. Ethyl alcohol, whether regular or denatured, may also be a good choice.

Ross Martinek A little strangeness, now and then, is a good thing… Wink

Removing decals without sanding??
Posted by gatormark91 on Thursday, April 27, 2006 10:13 PM
I didn't like the paint job on my 1/48 Hasegawa J2M.  I paint only with acrylics, so I stripped the paint off in a few minutes with 409 cleaner.  Worked like a charm!

However, the decals are stuck firm.  Is there any way to get decals to come off without sanding?  If I have to sand, I will, but I'd rather use some old EPA-unfriendly chemical-type method if it exists.

Thanks!
Mark
