Decaling the flight deck
Posted by mfsob on Sunday, May 7, 2006 5:06 PM

A rainy weekend so outside painting was out and I wanted to make some progress on my1/720 USS Enterprise, so I started putting the decals on the flight deck. After the first few I really looked at the sheets I purchased from Starfighter Decals and realized there are about FORTY of these things, ranging from the little tiny electrical access panel dashed lines to the great big landing stripes. And no beer at hand. Gonna be a longggggggggggggggg Sunday!

If anyone has any tips on how to keep your sanity while doing this, please share.

I'll tell you what I do:

1) get some beer!!!Yeah!! [yeah]

2) do one decal, have a beer!Cool [8D]

3) never do more than 3 decals in a day!Confused [%-)]

secret part: now you know why I take seven months to a year to finish a project!Wink [;)]
