removing white flakes around the decal
Posted by Anonymous on Friday, August 15, 2003 9:57 PM
Hi guys,
Just recently I ran into a problem of having white flakes around the decal, and then when the decal dries it just falls off. How do I get rid of this problem.
Thanks guys.Smile [:)]

It sounds like you are having "silvering" difficulties, which is air trapped underneath a decal. Are you applying the decal to a gloss surface ? Decals need a smooth, glossy suface to adhere. If you are applying it to a glossy surface and it isn't sticking, you can mix some white glue with water, put it where the marking will go, and slide the decal onto it. Hope this helps !

If they are old decals it could be the adhesive from the decal. Pixilater's white glue method should work.
