"By Request" Pics

Thanks for the info and pics. I know that there was a WarBirds decal set 48-005 that had his markings, but it's been OOP for a while. I was hoping that with ICM's 'Red Tail' kit they'd include it. but realized that by the time the 332nd got the 'D' model, Col. Davis was no longer flying anything but a desk.

Thanks for the pic w/nose art, I guessI'll have to 'wing it' and hand paint it.

Col. Davis roars past me every time I sit at my table.  I met the artist that did this print and I may be able to get some info for you.  After all... he had to have some references. Hopefully he can share it without and copyright infringement.  Artists are pretty touchy about that stuff.

Maybe you can wing it (no pun intended) for the close of the print.
