I assume the decal fix is like a gloss clear coat? If so you might try Future, or Johnsons Klear I think it is called over there? It is an acrylic floor polish that a lot of people here use as the clear coats. It works pretty good, and can be brushed on or sprayed. Try this link out for more info on the Future Floor Polish http://www.swannysmodels.com/TheCompleteFuture.html Good luck!

humbroll decal fix
Posted by Rob on Saturday, November 4, 2006 7:37 AM

hi all, i normally use humbroll decal fix on my models. so, 1st decal fix, than the decal, then another coat of decal fix. when that is dry, a matt coat of tamya.

but it often reacts with the paint leaving a collor difference of a stain. this is before the matt coat.

is there a substitute for humbroll decal fix, or do i have to put an other coat before the decal fix?

 thanks
