It is best to place them in a zip lock bag and then tape to a window. You don't want them to stick to the window if moisture should get to them. It does take about two or three weeks to completely bleach out the yellow.

Tape it to a dry window that gets lots of sun. The sun is supposed to bleach out the yellow. Haven' t had to try this myself, yet.

I may get so drunk, I have to crawl home. But dammit, I'll crawl like a Marine.

I believe exposure to sunlight can help this-- but I may be remembering wrong....one of the masters here should help-- but I am 80% sure that letting the sun shine on it helps...

Decal Yellowing
Posted by Anonymous on Tuesday, September 9, 2003 8:45 AM
I recently open up a couple of kits from the 80's which had been sealed until now. Some of the decals have yellowed. Is there a way to restore these decals? I remember this question was raised in the FSM Q&A section recently but I have forgotten the answer.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
