Perfectionist alert.........
Posted by scotty on Thursday, February 1, 2007 3:36 PM

Please help me out of the 2 holes that I've dug for myself.

 Number 1

My latest creation is a 747-400 in the new 'Virgin Atlantic' colour scheme, I've had decals made by Custom Hobby Decals which are excellent the only problem with them is that the 'Virgin Atlantic' fuselage decals are the wrong colour, Steve at C.H.D. said that he couldn't produce the colour that I wanted so did as close as he could but when put next to my A380 there a bit out and look more red than purple, so I need some more decals making that will be a exact match for VS purple with a white outline livery on the fuselage.

Is there anyone out there that can produce the correct colour & font for me, if you can, email me at scott.ellis2@btinternet.com

Custom hobby decals offer a really good service & this is no way a reflection on their part just me being a perfectionist again.

Number 2

In the making of the above model I have misplaced (more like thrown away)Sign - Oops [#oops] the cockpit decal, so this is a plea for anyone who has said decal, if you could please email me (above) with a scan of the cockpit decals so I can print it out my end, I would be happy as a pig in S$*$.Bow [bow]

This is a plea to all my fellow modelmakers & glueheads.

Thanks for the heads up on that post Air Master but I need the decals to look professional, if I was to have to cut around each individual letter it would look like a butcher had a go with a cleaver. This is why I need someone with access to an ALPs printer.
