Dan;

Try applying another small amount of Micro Set and softly nudge the decal with a Cotton Swab moistened with Micro Set to the edges. Then follow up with the Micro Sol. It should snug it down.

Cheers;

Gregory

HELP!
Posted by Anonymous on Thursday, February 1, 2007 6:31 PM
Hi. I'm working on a Tamiya kit from the early 90s (M2A2 Bradley) and have applied the included decals. I glossed the surface, used both Micro Set and Micro Sol, and sprayed a gloss coat on after applying the decal. However, the decals are still raised enough that I can see it and I'm afraid that when I start applying my wash, the decal surface (being more raised than the model surface) will be noticeable (like on another model I have.) Is there anything I can do to eliminate or level off that raised demarcation between the decal surface and the model surface? Am I doing something wrong? Any help and advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
