I'm building a Trum Coast Gaurd HH-65A and the decal sheet did not come with the blue CG racing stripe. In the Work Bench Review, the builder cut the stipes from a "solid-color decal sheet." I could not find a blue one anywhere. So, I purchased an ink jet, transparent decal sheet from Micromark. I intend to airbrush this with blue paint. My question: Is there anything else needed? I did not purchase the Micromark setting solution. Can I use the painted decal sheet directly on a Futured surface? Should I airbrush some Future on the decal sheet first?
Lastly, can anyone tell me the best acrylic blue to use for the Coast Gaurd stripe? The closest I have in my supply is Polyscale Conrail Blue. What do you think?
