Micro-Mark decal paper question
Posted by ski4jeepin on Monday, December 31, 2007 8:24 PM
Hey all, I'm about to order some white decal paper for laser printers from Micro-Mark and wanted input from anyone who has used it before. Is it good, bad, easy to use? Also is the fixative necessary? Any help appreciated! Thanks.

I have used the ink-jet printer paper, not the laser printer. However, I'm sure they react the same. White paper is the way to go because the decal will look translucent if printed on clear, so I found out! Just make sure you read the instructions for the paper and you have the correct settings on the printer before you print. I don't know if you will need a fixative with laser print but you do with ink jet. If you do need one, Krylon gloss or matte clear coat will work just fine. You can find this at any art/hobby store. Testors makes a fixative spray as well but I don't know much about it.
