Thanks for the information.  I thought I found some decals on that web site for the MATS version in 172nd but they're sold out.  However, I've added the web site to my favorites as it looks like an outstanding Airliner decal source.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but thats not available. The ancestor of your kit once came with those decals, but they'd be ancient if you found a set.

Constellations come in two basic flavors as models- the L-749 which has a shorter fuselage, and the L-1049 Super which is most identifiable by its longer nose, fuselage and tip tanks, primarily. I've bought Air France, Pan Am, TWA and BOAC decals for the 749s, but there aren't too many choices for the 1049, because thats the only 1/72 kit and they're in and out of production. Either choice you have is pretty cool though, because those are new schemes for models.

Here's a good site for airline things:

Need to Locate 172 TWA Super Constellation Decals
Posted by Sarge1 on Tuesday, January 29, 2008 11:14 PM

My sweet bride presented me an Airfix 172nd scale Super Constellation model kit for Christmas.  While it has some nice decals for Qantas Airwaya & AER Lingus, I want to finish it in TWA colors and markings.  I've searched several of the web sites (Squadron, Aeromaster, etc.) but have been unable to find any decals in 172 scale for the Super Connie in TWA livery. Does anyone have any suggestions or know where I can find the decals?

Thanks,

Sarge
