Hi all !!!!!!!!!


I just finished my Nautilus sub, so i put the decal numbers on..... afterthey dried i shot the model with Model Master Lusterless clear coat

After that dried, the decals had a white haze between the numbers..... any ideas why??? what can i do to fix this??

I didn't use future or any decal solution........Banged Head [banghead]

I think you may have already answered your question. The "white haze" is most probably air, trapped under the decal. A flat finish is not a smooth surface, and decals work best on a smooth, glossy surface. You may be able to save it by piercing the decal with a pin where the silvering (white) appears, and applying a drop of Future or setting/solvent solution, and applying another flat coat.
