The book, "Planes, Names, & Dames" by Larry Davis and DonGreer has a really good selection of Superfort Nose-art, if you'd care to try it.  Amazon is out of stock, but there are some used copies available through their site.

It also contains some humor from the crews about the censoring of nose-art, due to the base commander's wife at Kadena not liking what she saw on some of the B29s based there, with "before and after" shots of the birds, the most famous of them, "Never Hoppin'" going through several repaints...

There are several coffee table books on WWII aircraft nose art.  Some are pricey.  It's entirely possible you could find your great uncle's B-29 in one of these books, and possibly in color.  Be aware much of the art you will be seeing contains a modicum of female nudity.  It doesn't offend me, but it wrinkles the noses of other folks.

You might try this link for folks that do custom decal printing, scroll about 3/4 of the page to get a list.  http://www.xs4all.nl/~robdebie/models/decals.htm

B-29 nose art

I've posted a couple pics below.  This is the artwork from my Great-uncle's B-29 before they went down January 1945.  I want to get a couple decals done in 1/48 and I'm looking for a good source to do it.  I don't have a clue or the printer to do it.  I do have an idea of the colors needed.  Any info is appreciated.

Thanks,  Chris
