Is this only a Canadian store?

Bought $200 worth of models last week there. Love the store. Sadly, I only get there once a year since I live in Texas. 

Now I feel stupid...

Udisco is about 5 min. drive from where I live,I see the building everyday on my way to work, but I didn't even knew what Udisco was LOL.

One weard thinh though... Some of the items, like the Tamiya extra thin ciment, are cheaper at the toy store than direct at Udisco, whish is a distributor

Prices are pretty good.

www.luckymodel.com is out of Hong Kong and their shipping costs are comparible or cheaper than shipping out of the US. They seem to be exempt from duty as well, something which I've been dinged using Squadron and Great Models.

http://www.spruebrothers.com has some pretty good pricing and I'm planning on buying from them in the future. I've heard that he ships in a manner that slips past the customs agents.

http://www.scalehobbyist.com has recently come to my attention as well. 

The problem with those three (and which isn't their fault!) is you will get charged in US dollars and the Canadian peso isn't doing so hot right now.

The problem with the Canadian online stores is their prices aren't any cheaper than the LHS. If you have one, that is!

Hi, I live in Montréal too and for Tamiya stuff, I found that the local "high end" toy stores are the best place to buy...

I just checked the web site from Toronto that was mentioned above and the price for the Skyline 2000 GT-R is 3$ more than what I paid for at "Francjeu" and then you'd have to pay for shipping on top of it.

+ If they don't have it in stock, they can order anything you want and get it fairly quickly.

Not sure what the pricing is like for Tamiya kits in Canada, but asian sites like www.luckymodel.com leave Australian local prices for dead, particularly with back catalogue items.
