 Hmmm I don't think it will work that way. It will peel the paint and the plastic to a point. I really think they are used for etching glass, I have one by pacshe that was given to me thinking it was an airbrush but have never used it. To me anything that will scribe glass seems a bit tough for styrene. Plus looks messy I see sand going everywhere!

Anyone ever use one of these minature sandblasters?

Looks like it might be good for removing paint or sanding a hard to get at area.

I'm not sure what kind of surface it would leave on the plastic model.

Harbor Freight has them for about $25.00 using the 15% coupon. $30.00 without.
