I want a set of those NOW.

Are those handles made out of the same slick as snot plastic the old ones were made of?

Same material, different shape and longer...better ergonomics!

TIP: If your handles are slippery...wipe them down with a cloth dampened with lacquer thinner to remove the oils and grease from your hands...wash your hands frequently while building to prevent oil and and grime transfering to the model. Never know when a unknown smear of paint or solvent will be on ones hands while handling a model during a crucial time in the build.

The good folks at Xuron were good enough to send me an early production sample, and it's a really well-designed tool.

Nice work, Gerald. I've been a fan of the standard cutter for years, and topping that one was no small feat!

I bought one of the standard cutters a couple of years ago. Hated it. I must have gotten a bum pair because I've never heard of the problems that I had with them. I christened them "sprue mashers", tossed them in a drawer until the new wore off then tossed them in the trash bin a couple of months ago.

The new cutter's though, now these are some serious cutters! Good job Xuron!

Gerald,

Congratulations!  I like the fact that the tip is narrow, which makes it easier to access smaller parts.  Thanks for the tip about cleaning.

Those little beauties will be gracing my Xuron collection. I will have to remorgage the cat when they finally hit the radio active shores of Blighty.

Thanks for the heads up.

The distributors are getting the necessary product information this week...we finished up the sales sheet for Xuron early last week...these should be easily ordered from retailers here and mailed to you. I suspect that a UK distributor/stockist will also pick them up.I'm working on a video or two as we speak...I guess I'd better get a manicure Wink [;)] after all I'm now also a professional hand model Whistling [:-^] I wonder if I can get Lloyds to insure 'em? Just made a pre order with Sprue Brothers for these awesome looking cutters.

Good price and shipping to the UK.

Happy Days!
