Try this stuff:

Sherwin-Williams masking tape: "Shurtape Razor Edge Gold Premium Painters Tape."

I'm rescribing an entire FJ4-B, and this stuff is wonderfull for holding the templates down.

I love the blue painters tape because I use it for all kinds of masking and also for anchoring parts before airbrushing. However, this type of tape is not particularly sticky which means parts that are supposed to be held securely sometimes come off.

What tape is more sticky than the blue tape but without leaving residue on plastic?
