Contact Soldering Iron definition. These are adverstised on TV a lot. I picked up mine at Radio Shack. They are otherwise known as Cold Heat...they heat up too superhot temps in a split second and the tip can be touched seconds after turning off. The tip is actually a carbon element not a metal soldering tip like conventional soldering irons.
