Thanks for the heads up. I'll probably just keep using my X-acto for cutting heavier things like resin casting blocks and things that aren't near detail. I'm looking to do some surgery on an old Sherman M4A4 soon so I can get some more experience.

Tank,I have that same saw I got it about 2-3 months ago from Hawkeye,Great saw I never pick up my Zona or X-acto razor saws hardly anyomre.. Just be carefull I haven't broken one yet but I have read the blades are brittle.

I just ordered this saw. I can't vouch for it obviously but the reviews I've read are good and I've seen them in WIP articles on other sites and in the Osprey modelling series books.

I'm lookin' for a good hobby saw or saw blades. I have a nice Xacto knife and cant find any saw blades that would fit it. I also have an Xacto wood carvers kit with the nice screw driver size handle but cant find any blades for it either. Is there a nice hobby saw kit out there? I searched Squadron but didn't really find what I was looking for and Googled but came up dry.
