How does the Bug compare to the Etchmate 3C that I have?

I like the Etchmate so far but I have never tried any others to compare.

I'm in the same boat. Love the Etchmate 3C but haven't used anything else to compare to.

I don't "love" doing folds on PE parts, but since I received my 'bug', lets just say I hate it a lot less than I used to. They are a great company as I also got the smiley face on my invoice with a hand written "Thank You". I was also impressed with the fact that Julie from The Small Shop contacted me personally here on the forum when I expressed disappointment that they had run out of stock on the "Bug" to inform me when they were available again. She has also contacted other members here when they have had issues with the tools. Kudos again to TSS and Julie!

Why can't I find the "Any" key on my keyboard?

DON'T OVER TIGHTEN the knob to hold the PE in place. This is a holder not a squeezing press. Snug is good enough to hold the PE in place while you gently bend/fold the piece using the tools fingers as a guide/fence.

I got their 5-Speed model Christmas before last and it rocks! I actually love doing all the intricate little PE folds now, and you are right, Small Shop has great customer service. They have a new tool called the Wrangler for making grab handles that looks promising too. Enjoy your Bug!

I recieved my "BUG" yesterday and couldn't wait to tear it out of the mailman's hands!!!  I thank all of you that have posted to the threads about this tool!!  I even had a 'Happy Holidays' and a 'smiley face' on my invoice.  Kudoes to this company!!  I ordered it the morning of Xmas eve and recieved it on the 28th!!  It was shipped out that same day even with the holiday!!  All I can say is that I can't wait to use it!!
