When I was in college many decades ago, I was working on a scratchbuilt wooden sailing ship.  To taper the masts and spars I made a lathe contraption with my dremel.  Worked fine.  Your picture didn't come through, so I don't know what type of vise you mean, but the idea is certainly not impossible.

Homemade milling machine?

I was thinking about getting a Sliding drill press vise like this:

And using it with my Dremel tool drill press to make a sort of Poorman's Milling machine (only for plastic).  Any thoughts, advice, NO DON'T IT, or what not?

Denial, it's not just a coping mechanism, it's a way of life.
