Dymo tape

When I read Phil H's reply, I thought he was being facetious, so I made a facetious answer. Of course I take the backing off. I also cut it into thin strips. Maybe, I just got some that was too old. It has hardly any stick.

Like you do to detack masking tape, stick it to your arm first. You want it to really stick good if you are doing heavy scribing. Never apply it to a painted surface!

No, peeling the back off makes it too sticky!

I recently picked some up at Target in the Stationary department.

Nice thing about it is the backing is slit down the middle so you get twice as much use out of it and being clear you can position it easier.

I'm surprised to hear it's still available.  That stuff goes way back to the early 70's!

Its older than that! The military was using it back as early as the late 50's. I know my dad was labeling stuff in the 60's with it.

Alright I found some at a nearby Wallyworld.  Packaging looked like it had been there a LONG time!
