My Iwata Hp BCS
Posted by Noah T on Thursday, October 6, 2011 2:29 PM

My brother got this for me probably fifteen years ago. I used it a few times.

Hurricane Ivan took the Compressor and Squirrels took the hose.

What am I looking at to get this back in action?

Is this a good airbrush? I mainly work on 1/72 WW2 planes.

I need advice on compressor, hose, paint bottles, etc.

Thanks.

Yes you ahve a good airbrush...unless you want to donate to me.Big Smile

If you have a Hobby Lobby near you can get an Iwata hose for cheap with a 40% off cupon, they may have the paint cups as well. Try airbrush depot for the cup and TCP global for the compressor. There are many other places too but I have used all three of them and they worked well for me.

They make different needles and nozzles for it but if you thin you paint right and get your air at the right PSI you should be able to get it down to pencil thin or so. Best thing I can tell you is to practice, practice, practice and oh yeah practice
