Best tools for 1:72nd photo etch.
Hi,
the bug and various other specially made tools are very expensive and quite difficult to get hold of in the UK.
What are the best alternatives? I've been trying to find smooth jaw pliers from hardware, hobby shops but nothing fits the bill. Either the jaws are too short or they mouth is rougth, wrong shape.
What I need is a straight edge. A bending tool and something to cut the etch with? Open to simple suggestions (pliers, blades, rulers etc). Been thinking of a metal rule, some sort of blade for bending. A good quality pair of pliers. Scalple blade for cutting?
Wondering what everyone uses?
